<p><strong>Too many of our communities have been plagued by gun violence — enough is enough. </strong>Instead of making our communities safer, Republicans passed a permitless carry law, which eliminated background check and safety training requirements. Emily will fight for commonsense gun violence prevention measures, such as universal background checks, assault weapon bans, and community intervention programs.</p>

Emily is committed to fighting for <em>real </em>solutions that reduce costs for our families.</p>

Emily wants to expand Medicaid coverage so working families and mothers can have access to the care they need.</p>
